Does your HVAC controller have a scratched or broken faceplate?  Are the buttons showing white light through worn paint?  Or has the button paint fallen off completely?  We have the solution!

While your controller is apart, it's a good time to do some other work.  There's a good chance that the display will fail.  The factory bulbs are probably all bad at this point.
