What's the point of all this, you ask? Are you in it for the money? The fame? No? Why, then?
I'm an Electrical Engineer. For the first twenty years or so of my life, I couldn't be bothered with such trivialities as, well, anything remotely resembling creativity. You know the type - we all have that look about us, I'm told. The classic computer geek. I never paid attention in art, music, or reading classes, and the way I see it, this is just sort of a way to make up for all those projects that "the dog ate".
These days, I spend most of my free time making things, and raising money for the American Cancer Society. My fundraising team raised over $11,000 in 2010, so that's something.

What's a "BATEE"?
batee (bât-tee) noun, verb
1. (noun) Bryan.
2. (verb) Crazy; See Bryan.
What's a BATEE, you ask? What are you, some kind of foreigner? Well, no, I'm not a foreigner, unless you're not from here. It all started back in college. I wanted personalized license plates, and the state only offered a maximum of five characters at the time. I went to an engineering college, and it became popular to include in those five letters the engineering degree. So departments took on two-letter designations. My major was Electrical Engineering. My initials are BAT. So my license plate reads "BATEE". That'll teach you to ask.
